I have not mentioned this til now ... so here goes ... we are planning a remodel, that pretty much touches on every part of the house. While my mind spins ... I find working on a path to George's 'sugar shack' quite refreshing. So, we got help yesterday and began to dig up dirt from the house to the 'blue shack.'

I have not mentioned this til now … so here goes … we are planning a remodel, that pretty much touches on every part of the house. While my mind spins … I find working on a path to George’s blue ‘sugar shack/shed’ quite refreshing. So, we got help yesterday and began to dig earth / lay sand layer. (BTW…those tiny trees and hardscape are coming out. That key lime / lemon tree died with the last freeze.)

Lean-to shed on George's shack is coming along -- I cannot tell you how many expletives came out of my mouth whilst using a long deck screw to put together two 2X4s.

I saved this pic for the end, cause it's been a bit of a bummer -- and tells me I'm right now a sucky engineer. Since our lot slopes I should have started with a concrete form at the top of the parking lot space. Geez...what a dummy.
