AUSTIN, TEXAS — My head is spinning. What did I just do??
Geez…at least I kept the gas connected to the stove — and the sink connected to the water.
I have to thank our fantastic ESTEBAN who stayed strong after hours and hours of demo work.
“What next, he would ask…what next, GRINGA??”
“Am I LOCO?” I’d ask Esteban.
“No Daniela,” he’d say.
Wonderful ESTEBAN…I could not have done it without you.
What next? I have no brain cells. I do not want to make one more decision.
But the result…we netted out on a fine side …and I’m pleased as punch.
The PONY WALL came out. The nasty Holly Hobby corner cabinet (with scalloped edges) came out.
And there’s a full bin of cabinets in a waste management bag outside.
It was a great day!! A day I have wished for for many, many years.
I chucked those darn blue laminate tops with the fury of a crazed woman. It felt great!! I won!!
